Can you believe that we’re already finished with the first month. By now, you should have all of the Christmas soaps sold, the decorations put away, and perhaps you have possible regained most of your energy back from the chaos of the Holidays. We know recovery time is often needed. :) For those of you who like to get a head start on your soap making, you’ve probably already either made your Valentine’s Day soap, or have it setting somewhere if your office, house, or soap making studio. We’re really excited about this Valentine’s Day, since every year, we seem to see more and more soap makers doing higher sales and reported more demand for their product.

To celebrate summer’s triumphant arrival, we’ve compiled a showcase of some of our favorite Summer-Inspired Soaps! As you can see, they range quite a bit in method, scent, shape, and color. We wanted to try to include as many soap making methods as possible, and hopefully we were successful in doing this!

I think the end result is always worth it though.

Even if you don’t achieve your desired creation, you probably learned something valuable in the process, right?  That being said, I’m sure the most talented soapers and soap makers have made some pretty big sacrifices when it comes to space in their homes, and time spent on learning the trade. These people are dedicated, committed to consistently providing great soaps for their clients, friends and family…and they are are generally generous with their advice and ideas within the soap making communities online and offline. It is because of this that…

We Want to Feature YOU and YOUR SOAP right here!

One of the purposes of this blog is to bring the spotlight onto well-deserving soap makers, and feature some of their creations on our site. As a sparkling new soaper myself, seeing other people’s awesome ideas inspires me to keep learning, even if the learning curve is a bit long.

There are so many who are long-time professionals of the wonderful art of soap making, and yet they have little to no recognition and no special awards to add to their soaping resumes… except for maybe a few ‘those are nice’ comments from among their local friends and family. We want to give gorgeous soaps and their talented artists a nice spot up on this blog, and we’re aiming to do this at least once a week.
