There are few things we love more at Cibaria Soap Supply than showcasing amazing Handmade Soaps and Soap Making talent! Holiday 2009 Handmade Soap Showcase

While I had intended to put this article out at the beginning of the holiday shopping season so soapmakers had a chance to spin-off some of their own ideas from great products hitting the market, things didn’t work out as planned. I did not want this topic to be passed over, however, so I have put together a showcase of holiday soaps.

There are two ways to look at this showcase. You can either use these ideas for next Christmas, or you can use the premise of an idea for another holiday or event coming up soon. Hint: You should be getting things together for Valentine’s Day now.

So without further ado, here are highlights from this years’ holiday season.

Shape It Up

There are many holiday molds on the market, as well as cookie cutters that can be used to give your soaps a festive feel. From gingerbread men to snowflakes and trees, here are a few lovely holiday shaped soaps.

Thanksgiving and Holiday Soap Making!

It’s amazing… it seems like just yesterday we were packing up our Christmas decor, putting our Christmas trees away, and riffling through our refrigerators for those last bits of stale leftovers from Thanksgiving. Well friends, the Holidays are upon us once again! A time of feasting, family, and of course rush soap orders, special orders, and pure chaos if you happen to be a soap maker who also doubles as a business owner. The Holidays are not only a great time to show your family and friends some of your greatest creations, but they’re also a time of great opportunity, as your buyers test your diligence, creativity, and customer service.

Here at Cibaria, we’ve got tons of great things in the works for the Holiday season. Since we also supply the food industry with Olive Oils, Specialty Oils, and Vinegars, we are brimming with requests, rush orders, and getting things out in time for our staff to go home for the long holiday weekend with their families. We never forget about our soapers though. We’ve seen some spectacular soap for the summer, and when the fall came around, you never ceased to amaze with your great choices of scents, colors, and even delicious food-looking soap creations.
